Germany. I’m hopping through my archives!

At the falcony

Ok, it’s been a week since I posted something new. We’re staying in Germany for the next pics. At the last day of our little trip we went to a castle in Cochem near the Mosel River where they had a small falcony. They had a little bird show, which was pretty cool.

Here is the, euhm, boss of the birds, holding an owl.

And here he is doing his daily excercise: flying back and forth for some nice delicious peaces of meat.

They also had a hawk (who took a couple of flights over the crowd)…

… and an eagle (not flying).

There was a falcon as well, but he flew too fast to make a decent picture of him.

… van drie daagjes relaxen aan de Moezel. Goed weer hebben we niet gehad jammer genoeg, maar dat kon de pret niet bederven. Prachtige romantische zichten over de vallei. Burchten met valkerijen. Overal wijnranken te zien en vele Rieslinger (trocken sp?tlese) achterovergeslagen. Ja, die Duitsers weten wat goed is, dat moet gezegd worden: hopen vlees op uw bord in een zalige peperroomsaus, spekjes tussen de gebakken aardappelen, mega grote koffiekoeken en taarten bij de vleet. Een paradijs voor veelvraten. Terloops nog op een wijnfeest gebotst in ??n of ander dorpje, waar ze de lokale wijn gratis en voor niks in uw glas goten met op de achtergrond een zacht schlagerdeuntje. En als u een Duitse kroeg genaamd Bacchus Tanzkeller induikt dan kan u daar dit verwachten:

Die Duitsers, het zijn feestneuzen.
