BTW: I’m going to marry this beautiful woman. Hence the silence lately, too busy organising the wedding.

I took this portrait on our trip in Prague, somewhere on a terrace. I used my 100mm macro for it, which is actually a great lens for taking portraits.
Good luck, honey!

April 4th, 2009 | portraits | 1 Comment »My girlfriend shot with my new Lensbaby Muse which I received from her as a Chrismas gift. Thanks for that honey. Shot in the garden, nothing but natural light. Put the photos together in Lightroom’s print module, Printed it as a jpeg, re-imported it again and exported it at the right size. The lensbaby itself is very fun to play with, but it needs some practice. It is very soft, so you have to get used to its look and search for subjects that can take such a soft look. So far it is very nice for portraits. All in all, I think simple compositions are most suitable for the lensbaby.
