jet

Shot this jet/plane during a small exhibition a couple of weeks ago at the Antwerp Airport. Public was allowed so close to this jet, my 17mm wasn’t almost enough to get the entire plane in the frame. Shot it with the camera all the way down to the ground without being able to look through the viewfinder. After a couple of times trying aiming, this composition came out, sort of what I had in mind. PP-wise this shot has seen a single frame HDR tonemapping in Photomatix together with a serious desaturation. Original image can be found here.

An evening in Reet

An evening in Reet

Something completely different today. No Spain, but the magnificent country of Belgium. ;-) Last weekend we had extremely nice weather, with very nice evenings. This shot is from sunday, a lovely evening. I took the car and drove around a bit, looking for some nice fields, which I found evenutally in Reet. It’s an hdr from four shots: 1.3s, 6s, 13s and 25s at f11, ISO 100.

Again an HDR. Three bracketed exposures this time.

Remy

Remy

Something completely different now than the portraits I posted. This is the building of a factory called Remy in the village Wijgmaal near the city Leuven (the town in Belgium where I live). It’s a very interesting building to photograph especially with that canal in front of it. I have a lot of pictures of it. This one is a recent picture and it’s an hdr composition of nine bracketed exposures with 1 stop difference. I kept it as natural as possible, while trying to put a lot of drama in it.
